Cafe Rust first swung open its beautiful hand-carved wooden doors in January 2015 in vibrant Preston Road.
Since then Barbaros and the team have opened branches in both Hove and Kemptown.
Coming on board in 2017, esteemed chef Anna Quemard has been serving both quality interpretations of classic dishes and daring new ventures into the uncharted territories of food.
The cafes’ stylish rustic interior allows you to waste entire afternoons in a beautiful, relaxed setting.
Already a firm favourite with Brightonians and visitors alike, Cafe Rust is fast becoming one of the city’s culinary hidden gems.

Cafe Rust – Kemptown.
Kemptown is a collaboration with William Morris Antiques. Situated in the heart of Kemptown village, with big gorgeous glass windows to let in plenty of sunlight & only a stones thrown away from the beach.
The café has fresh pasties from Coburn & Baker every day, all breakfasts, cakes, salads & specials are made in house by their talented chefs. Along side their food, they serve Red Roaster organic coffee, local and roasted in Kemptown.
Part of the collaboration they have, means all antiques in the café are for sale so please ask at the counter if you are interested in making a purchase.
Like all of their cafes, Café Rust Kemptown focuses on fresh food, great coffee and beautiful cakes.
