Hard Skin are set to return to the stage here in Brighton, bringing their signature Oi!/punk energy to the Hope & Ruin on December 14. Originally from Gipsy Hill, London, the band formed in 1996 and quickly became a cult fixture in the UK punk and Oi! scene.
Expect a night of gritty, no-frills punk rock, snarling vocals, driving basslines and raw guitar riffs. Their catalogue mixes irreverent humour with working-class grit, and on this tour they’re promising a set that blends “…all the hits, unreleased tracks and the usual chaos!”
For longtime fans, this show is a chance to celebrate a band that’s influenced generations of underground punk, and for newcomers, a crash course in the unpolished energy and defiant spirit of UK punk and Oi!.
Expect a sweaty, close-quarters gig – part mosh, part sing-along, all ‘tude.
INFO: Doors 7 pm, age 18+, tickets £10.
