You may have spotted the recent refurb of this hotel/ bar as it transformed from The Iron Duke into the Southern Belle earlier this year.
Along with the alterations to the pub come some very exciting changes to their food! Not wanting to limit themselves to just one menu, every month they welcome a variety of different food pop-ups through their doors with appearances from some of the best kitchens in action in the area! So there’s always going to be an opportunity to try something new, interesting and of course, absolutely delicious!
On Nov 15th Humble Plates will serve an incredible 5-course tasting menu, for example. On Wednesdays and Fridays, 6pm-10pm, Jaldee Jaldee take residency with their mouthwateringly-good vegan and vegetarian Indian street food. Everything Jaldee Jaldee cook is homemade, authentic and unlike anything else you’ve tasted before. With a recent Healthy Choice award from Brighton & Hove under their belts, it’s time to enjoy some guilt free eating!
Sundays are for roast dinners, served 12-6pm, we’d recommend getting down early as these locally sourced delights always sell out fast.
