Daytura & Sofia Ford co-headline this incredible night of rock, complete with bluesy guitar grooves & powerful female vocals.
Sonar Presents two incredble co-headline artists in Daytura and Sofia Ford as we bring modern day rock & blues music on tour across the South of England.
Sofia Ford
Sofia is a 23 year old singer songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from south London. As a Rock/Pop artist Sofia has a big passion for 90s rock music as well as Blues. These elements really shine through Sofia’s music with melodic bass lines and raging electric guitars yet through this wall of sound you can always find a catchy hook which has become prevalent in Sofia’s music.
Sofia is passionate about bringing live bands back to the forefront of modern music and is at the forefront of pioneering this movement, believing that live music brings people together and creates a shared energy that cannot be replaced.
As Sofia has progressed in the industry she has written, self produced and recorded all of her music as well as directing her videos and imagery.
Sofia has a huge track record of performing from a young age having performed internationally as well as headlining shows in the UK. Whilst playing electric guitar, Sofia sings lead vocals supported by her five piece band; drums, bass, electric and rock organ.
Daytura
With an authentic sound reminiscent of Led Zeppelin and Heart’s golden era of progressive rock, Daytura command attention both live and on record. Their sound blends razor-sharp riffs and searing vocals with authentic blues grit, creating an atmosphere that is as electrifying as it is emotive.
In just two years, Daytura have built an impressive reputation, gaining national radio exposure including support from BBC Introducing in the UK and iHeart Radio in the USA (under their former name datura). Their relentless live energy has seen them perform at Teddy Rocks, Bristol Harbour Fest, Vdub Fest, and a host of other UK festivals, as well as supporting The Entitled Sons, The Rattlebacks, Kit Trigg and The Hot Damn! on tour.
