Hullabaloo Quire, one of Brighton’s best-loved Natural voice choirs, and special guest Grace Petrie present an evening of songs of protest and passion.
Grace Petrie is a folk singer, songwriter, and activist from Leicester, UK. Her recent track Black Tie is furiously funny, lively, loving, and hopeful. It is an anthem to the positive, life-changing possibilities of protest songs – an area very close to the collective Hullabaloo heart.
Deborah Frances-White sums up Grace Petrie best in The Observer – ‘She’s the urgent, pulsing, compassionate talent this world desperately needs.’
Hullabaloo Quire is renowned for its vibrant, innovative and accessible a cappella music and has just celebrated twenty years of choral collaborations. The choir has performed in the Brighton Festival and twice hosted The Street Choirs Festival.
