The UK’s largest open-air adventure film tour is coming to Brighton!
The only outdoor cinema of its kind in the UK; the Frontier Sapiens Film Festival showcases a selection of the world’s best adventure, cultural and environmental films from around the globe.
Returning to Brighton in 2026 with a BRAND NEW LINE-UP OF FILMS, join us for an evening of captivating, thought-provoking short films featuring inspiring stories of human endeavour. Travel the globe with some of the world’s best filmmakers, and experience extraordinary human spirit and wild adventures on the big screen.
Get your friends together, grab your picnic, and prepare for an incredible evening of films under the stars!
THE 2026 FILM LINE-UP WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN MAY. SEE OUR PREVIOUS FILM LINE-UPS FOR AN IDEA OF WHAT TO EXPECT.
📍 The event will take place in the beautiful One Garden Brighton walled garden.
⌚ Films start at 8:45pm (access to the walled garden from 8pm). A collection of short films over the course of the evening. Event ends no later than 11pm.
🌙 Please note, if it is a particularly bright evening, the film start time may be delayed by up to 15 minutes.
🍿 Food and drink will be available to purchase from the One Garden Brighton team all evening. You are also welcome to bring your own food and drinks to enjoy the screening.
🎬 There may be a small amount of swearing in some of the films. The films are recommended for 12+, but children of any age are welcome to attend.
🔦 We encourage all attendees to bring their own torch / flashlight to use when exiting the venue.
🦮 Dogs are allowed at this event, but we ask that they be kept on a lead at all times and kept quiet throughout the screening.
☀️ The screening will continue come rain or come shine, so please dress accordingly! If unsafe weather is forecast (high winds / thunder and lightning), the event will be rescheduled or cancelled at the discretion of the event organiser. If cancelled, a full refund will be issued to all ticket buyers. If rescheduled, your tickets will be automatically transferred to the rescheduled date (with a refund option given).
🪑 Ticket purchase does NOT include seating, but you are welcome to bring your own blankets, cushions or camping chairs to enjoy the show. Alternatively, you can reserve a bench seat at the time of ticket purchase.
🚗 Parking is available at the venue, but please take note of the One Garden Brighton parking policy.
🎫 Please ensure you bring your e-ticket with you (on your phone or as a paper ticket). If you have purchased a concession ticket, please arrive with proof of eligibility.
