Start your morning off with something relaxing creative at Waterstones – a studious and quiet venue with a lovely cafe
Every Thursday we’ll be meeting at Waterstones to learn how to paint in watercolour. In the morning the cafe is very quiet and its a great environment for starting off the day with something calming. Every week there are new people coming so you won’t be alone if its your first time coming!
Each week there’ll be a new theme:
Thursday 21st September – NO CLASSES
Thursday 29th September 9:30 – 11:00: BARN OWL
OCTOBER THEMES:
Thursday 5th October – Conkers & Chestnuts
Thursday 12th October – Bats
Thursday 19th October – Pumpkins & Squashes
Thursday 26th October – NO CLASSES
These classes are suited to a range of levels, we will be painting from imagination and learning techniques on how to ‘doodle with watercolours’ and will be in more of an illustrative style. This can be great for those with an interest in illustration who might want to explore their style further in watercolour.
All materials are supplied 🖌️ 🎨
Take a look at my previous workshops to see what it’ll be like
And my instagram for more recent projects
Feel free to get in contact – gingergreeen.artist@gmail.com if you have any questions. Look forward to meeting you!
REFUNDS:
Unfortunately eventbrite takes a cut of the ticket event if the ticket is refunded. Which means I would be losing money. So I’m unable to offer a full refund. So there is a choice between these things:
1) I can transfer your ticket to a different week of your choice
2) I can refund you but it will be a few quid and pence less!
YOUR TUTOR
Hi I’m Zara who’s behind ‘Ginger Green’. I run creative workshops, paint murals, create window displays amongst lots of other creative things! I’ve been painting in water colours for many years and it is my favourite kind of paint as they’re really easy to take out with you on walks, or set up at home & the outcome always gives you surprises. My background is in illustration – studying between 2016 and 2019 at UWE in Bristol, I then moved back to Sussex where I now work full time creatively in lots of different areas.
Painting plants and animals is something that I find really relaxing and therapeutic and makes me appreciate nature even more. I hope in this workshop I can share that with you!
