Philippa Davies joins Corelli once again for the glorious Paul Reade Concerto for Flute. Bach’s Brandenburg Concert no. 3 will also feature
Legendary flautist Philippa Davies, who wowed the audience with her spectacular playing last season, returns to perform Paul Reade’s Concerto for Flute and String Orchestra. The concerto, originally commissioned by Manchester Camerata was inspired by Reade’s love of French music. The programme will also feature Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto no 3, Holst St Paul’s Suite and Albinoni’s glorious Adagio.
As usual we are delighted to invite our audience to join us for a drink in the hall after the concert.
