An immersive, multi-sensory, intense, profoundly emotional and affecting climate-chaos wake-up call. Virtual reality for the ears and eyes.
Conceived working with climate themes in collaboration with scientists at University of East Anglia’s Tyndall Centre, Darkroom was originally presented by invitation at Glasgow’s COP26 International Climate Change Conference. Now the 20-minute installation for just six audience members at a time, held in complete darkness, has been updated and reimagined for Brighton Festival.

About KlangHaus
KlangHaus is a cross-discipline practice, blending art, music and theatre. Initially responding to unsung buildings, over the past decade the collective have grown into responding to context, a KlangHaus show can be performed in a black box, an art gallery, an abandoned building, mansion and with fresh steps, into the wild outdoors.
Klanghaus creates sensory narratives that transform spaces and transport our imagination, creating fresh dialogues with buildings and communities.
KlangHaus is a partnership between musicians/sound artists The Neutrinos and visual artist Sal Pittman.
