Family Fiction is George McCanna, Dave Harding, Alex Cockburn and Jack Greenwood.

The band, based in brighton, was formed in 2014 and sits somewhere between folk and americana in style. Having gained early support from Radio X, and fresh from supporting their Royal Blood classmates, the band has enjoyed two self-released singles, The Bends and Jensen.

The Bends, a dark, introspective narrative about lead singer George’s Uncle, Nigel, who took his life after a long battle with throat cancer and Jensen, a nod to the frustrations of Networks’s Arthur Jensen as he battles with the despair of a fractured and less-hopeful international economy.

With lyrics deeply rooted in an unconvinced upbringing, personal demons and holy fables.
