Meet your favourite crime writer at Darkside of Brighton – the friendliest literary festival in the country held at the Old Ship Hotel on 28th-29th October. 

More than 30 new and established crime authors are participating in the two-day festival. The event will be packed with conversations with chart-busting writers and panels discussing things like “Writing female leads” and “Police procedural”. 

Darkside of Brighton boasts an impressive lineup with best-selling crime writers such as Elly Griffiths (Dr Ruth Galloway mysteries & Brighton mysteries), William Shaw (DS Alex Cupidi and Breen & Tozer mysteries) and Vaseem Khan (Malabar House and Baby Ganesh Agency mysteries) as well as other established and emerging talents.

The fans of murder mysteries get to hang out with their literary heroes, get to know the up-and-coming writers and celebrate the much-loved genre in an inclusive atmosphere.

Tickets for this must-go event for the fans of crime and mystery are just £12.50 for the weekend and are available to buy here.
