Ansvar Insurance, a specialist insurer for the charity and not-for-profit sectors, is hosting a free workshop designed to help charitable organisations strengthen their presence on LinkedIn.

The event, titled ‘How to make the most of LinkedIn’, will take place on Tuesday 10th March and will be delivered by Kirsty Marrins, a freelance communications specialist. Charity representatives can attend in person at Ansvar’s Community Hub, located at its Brighton head office, or join the session virtually.

The workshop will explore how charities and not-for-profits can use LinkedIn more effectively to raise their profile, engage supporters and stakeholders, and share their impact. The session will cover practical tips and best practice, followed by a Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions and discuss their own communications challenges.

For those attending in person, the event will run from 11am to 1.45pm, with tea, coffee and pastries available before the session and lunch provided afterwards. The in-person event will also offer Sussex-based charities the chance to network and connect with peers. Virtual attendees from across the UK can join via Microsoft Teams from 11.15am to 1pm.

“LinkedIn is a powerful tool for raising visibility and building credibility, yet many organisations don’t feel confident using it to its full potential. This workshop is designed to give charities the practical skills and insights they need to make LinkedIn work harder for them.”

Charities and organisations wishing to attend are asked to email Ansvar.communityhub@ansvar.co.uk by 26th February, confirming whether they plan to attend in person or virtually. Those joining online will receive a Microsoft Teams invitation.
