This small display explores the life and work of Aubrey Beardsley, with an emphasis on the time he spent in Brighton.
Discover stories from Aubrey Beardsley’s life from his early career as an illustrator to his connections with Oscar Wilde and the decadent movement, and his early death at the age of only 25. Born in Brighton and baptised at St Nicholas Church he attended Brighton Grammar School and had connections to The Church of the Annunciation in Washington Street.
