There is no payment for this type of contribution however it’s a great chance to learn, attend the best gigs, clubs, festivals and parties, get a chance to assist with interviewing the biggest acts and stars, or even carry out interviews yourself in future, all whilst creating a reputation for excellent deadline management and building your professional portfolio.
We also always notify the Contributor Team first when new roles and assignments become available, before announcing to the public, so it’s a great way to stay in the loop about what’s coming up!
Or perhaps you’re already a professional, and happy to carry out unpaid assignments now and then to keep your entertainment portfolio very current with high profile assignments?
Contributions can be based on a range of subjects, from event reviews or photographs from some of the best events coming up, reviews from great places you’ve eaten in the city, through to reviewing the best new music before it’s released, writing about your favourite local artists, photographing and capturing opinions from readers, writing about local news and opinion, and all sorts!
Send a CV / letter to the Editor on info@xyzbrighton.com and include info about what you’re into / ideas about what you might like to do.
