CD Review: Eiffel Tower Apocalypse – Appi

Single review – Appi ‘Eiffel Tower Apocalypse’ – Words

Brighton’s own instru-mentalists have set the bar high with their debut single. These soundscape specialists have barely been together 9 months and they’ve already carved themselves a intense sonic identity.

The ambient minimalism of the crystalline guitars, cavernous reverb and dubby rhythms give no warning as to the ten-ton wall of noise that lies ahead. Get yourself down to the Latest Music Bar in Kemp Town for some epic smooshing at the official single release party.

Out 15th June

Too right, saw the band at the Druids on Saturday and it blew my socks off. The noise was big, and the room was tiny…….. My ears are still ringing, on Wednesday the following week…. I really rate this band. Well done
