DESCRIPTION:If Brighton was a dining table that stretched out along the sea
 …\nWho sits at the table?\nWhat’s on the menu?\nAnd what stories are t
 old across the table?\nBrighton People’s Theatre wants to meet you\, to
  create a new story for the stage. The story is called Born and Bread: it
 ’s about home\, belonging\, and identity\, and we want to meet people fr
 om all different backgrounds to bring it to life.\n\nWhether you were born
  in Brighton or have just arrived\, we want to meet you.\n\nBorn and Bread
  will be performed at the Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts (ACC
 A) in July 2022. There are lots of ways to be involved.\n\n📚 Tell us a
  story.\n\n🎵 Write a song.\n\n🍲 Cook some food.\n\n🎭 Perform in t
 he show.\n\n👚 Make some costumes.\n\n🤩 Be part of the audience.\n\nN
 o prior experience of any kind is required. Drop in to one workshop\, or 
 join us for the whole creative journey.\n\nWe’re running drop-in worksho
 ps between 21 February to 8 April 2022. We’ll then be rehearsing weekly
  from 25 April to 15 July 2022 ready for the performance at ACCA.\n\nWe 
 are running four workshops across the City each week. Meet people. Share f
 ood. Play games. Tell a story.\n\n 	In the East: @ The Crew Club\, Whiteh
 awk – Mondays 10.30 am – 12 pm\n 	In the West: @ Portslade Sports Cen
 tre\, Mile Oak\, Portslade – Tuesdays 12.30 pm – 2 pm\n 	In the City c
 entre: @ Friends Meeting House – Tuesdays 6 pm – 7.30 pm\n 	In the C
 ity centre: @ Brighthelm Community Centre – Thursdays 7 pm – 8.30 pm
 \n\nOver the Easter holidays\, our writers Jack Parris and Tanushka Marah 
 will write a script for a show. We’ll then be rehearsing once a week (ex
 cept during the May half term) from 25 April to 15 July ready for the pe
 rformance at ACCA that will take place on a date TBC in July.
