DESCRIPTION:\nUpRoar People’s Ceilidh is a monthly folky fulcrum of creat
 ive celebration.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIt’s part concert\, part singing worksho
 p\, part ceilidh dance\, part fundraiser and part community feast – UpRo
 ar is literally an all-singing-all-dancing community shindig!\n\n‘It’s
  like a festival in an afternoon!’ – UpRoar People’s Ceilidh Partici
 pant\n\nEach month\, UpRoar welcomes a different special guest from the wi
 de and wonderful world of progressive folk\, and invites you to a matinee 
 concert with our guest. This is followed by a singing workshop led by chor
 al activist Kirsty Martin and then a few ceilidh dances – dancers of all
  abilities and penchants welcome! We then share a community feast together
 \, while learning about a cause / organisation that is close to our guest
 ’s heart.\n\nUpRoar has something for everyone! Each session features a 
 special musical guest\, a chosen charity\, a community song\, an accessibl
 e &amp\; inclusive group dance &amp\; some wonderful food!\n\nWe're deligh
 ted to be welcoming rhythmic Soul-Singer Songwriter\, Storytelling Poet\, 
 harmonica-playing\, tap-dancing\, Guitar picking\, one-man-rhythmic-dance-
 band Rory McLeod to Brighton!\n\nKids under 8 come for FREE. Group discoun
