DESCRIPTION:Come along to a relaxed\, drop in\, tutored pose life drawing s
 ession for all abilities with a different topic each weekCome along to a r
 elaxed\, drop in\, tutored pose life drawing session for all abilities. Th
 ere is a different topic each week covering a different aspect of life dra
 wing.This week’s topic is: The Torso and Back: the construction and arti
 stic anatomy of the torso and back The session includes a short taught seg
 ment at the beginning lasting around 20 mins\, followed by a series of exe
 rcises where we draw from an unclothed model. The session is taught by tut
 or Lancelot Richardson. There will be a short break for hot drinks and bis
 cuits in the middle of the session.These sessions can be attended flexibly
 \; you can attend all sessions like a course\, or pick and choose topics.

 .What you need to bringYou are welcome to bring your own drawing materials
 . Free materials\, including paper and any required materials for the sess
 ion are provided free of charge with this session. Drawing boards will be 
 provided on a first come\, first serve basis. There are chairs and tables 
 available in the space.Getting to the SpaceThis session is run at the Stud
 io room at Hanover Community Centre\, 33 Southover Street\, Brighton\, BN2
  9UDThis is about a 15-20 min walk from Brighton train stationThe nearest 
 bus stops are Southover Street (serviced by 37B City Buzz)\, the Level (se
 rviced by 25\, N25\, 37B City Buzz) and bottom of Elm Grove (serviced by 2
 1\, 22\, 23)When you arrive at the building\, please press the 'Studio' bu

  the TutorLance is an independent artist and illustrator\, with over 7 yea
 rs experience as a tutor at Draw Brighton\, teaching life drawing\, portra
 iture\, drawing and painting. He also occasionally teaches at Hastings Con
 temporary\, and for various private clients.Safety &amp\; accessibilityThe
 se classes are currently held on the first floor\, with stairs to access. 
 There are toilets directly next to the studio.The studio itself has natura
 l light\, with overheadlighting turned on when needed. Low music will be p
 laying at sessions. Fixative spraying is not allowed in the studio and is 
 done outside. Oil paints are not allowed in this space. We also try to imp
