 \n\nWe are participating in Brighton Fringe 2022 with an ambitious work t
 hat combines dance\, spoken word\, projection mapping\, and chromakey.\n\n
 The concept of this performance is based on the tale\, "Tower of Babel" re
 corded in the Old Testament.\n\nWe will use excerpts of Yasunari Kawabata'
 s "One Arm\," Mimei Ogawa's "The Black Tower\," and an automatic transcrip
 tion of the breaking news of the 2001 terrorist attack on the Twin Towers.
 \n\nWe used speech-to-text software to automatically extract the words of 
 the original news broadcast. The software algorithm produces a variety of 
 linguistic errors\, resulting in an incomprehensible string of sentences.\
 n\nThrough this work you can experience the confusion of language and the 
 richness of images it evokes when free from human control.\n\nWith the rap
 id development of communication technology\, we can instantly exchange wor
 ds with someone far away. How will language change as we confront each oth
 er as anonymous "bodies" that have no contact with each other?\n\nTake a p
