DESCRIPTION:Brighton Toy and Model Museum’s Next Running Day Is A Tribute
  to Roger Bamber\n\nPlease join us for a remarkable vintage model railway 
 show where we will be celebrating the timeless allure of steam power and t
 he romance of train travel.\n\nThe train running day taking place on 14th 
 October 2023 and is a particularly special event for us as it celebrates t
 he life and incredible work of our friend Roger Bamber\, a renowned photog
 rapher of international fame\, who held a deep affection for our museum an
 d its exquisite collection of model trains.\n\nAs well as the iconic photo
  of Chris Littledale tending to one of the steam engines in our collection
 \, Roger made other generous donations to the museum\, including the prest
 igious Schools class locomotive nameplate ‘Brighton’.\n\nThis exhibiti
 on is a heartfelt commemoration of Roger’s enduring legacy within the ra
 ilway enthusiast’s community.\n\nOn Saturday\, October 14th\, Brighton T
 oy and Model Museum is excited to announce its next train running day The 
 Great Vintage Model Railway Show\n\nThe Vintage Model Railway Show will fe
 ature a delightful collection of vintage model trains\, carefully curated 
 by museum founder Chris Littledale\, in memory of Roger. The collection sp
 ans the era from the 1920s to the 1950s\, and notably the large ‘O’ ga
 uge layout will be operating from 11:00am until 4:30pm with a break for lu
 nch from 1:00pm to 2:30pm.\n\nThe museum itself will be open throughout th
 e day from 10:30am to 5:00pm.\n\nDuring this time the museum will be warml
 y welcoming the public to enjoy the elegance and charm of the locomotives 
 and iconic trains from a bygone era as they pass though beautifully made s
 cale scenery.
