  performing bold new arrangements of the record\, including Smalltown Boy 
 and Why.\n\nAn unashamed portrait of radical queerness in 1980s Britain\, 
 this record marked a pivotal moment in LGBTIQA+ cultural history\, acting 
 as a beacon of hope for a generation of disenfranchised youth. Originally 
 staged in 2024 to celebrate the record’s 40th anniversary\, The Age of C
 onsent is now back by popular demand\, re-energised and revitalised.\n\nJo
