DESCRIPTION:Rock 4 Dementia - the grassroots live-music fundraising event f
 ounded in 2020 by Southport couple Sharon and Neil Thompson - is heading t
 o Brighton for the first time on 29 March 2026\, bringing a full day of li
 ve performances to raise vital funds for Dementia UK. Created in memory of
  Sharon's mum\, who lived with vascular dementia for nine years\, Rock 4 D
 ementia has already raised over £5\,000 in aid of Dementia UK who provide
  specialist dementia nurses (Admiral Nurses) for families navigating their
  way through a loved one's dementia journey. What began as a local passion
  project born from love\, loss\, and a shared devotion to live music has n
 ow grown into a recognised annual event supported by musicians all over th
 e UK.\n\nThis year's Brighton event has been coordinated by a dedicated te
 am of patrons led by Martin Parrott ('Marty Love' of Johnny Moped\, Wingme
 n\, The Sixx and many more bands)\, with support from fellow patrons Maxin
 e Talulah (The Sixx)\, Kairen Kemp (producer and presenter for BBC Upload 
 and Radio Reverb)\, Will Moore (The Prince Albert\, Brighton) and punk ico
 n Charlie Harper\, widely known as the Godfather of Punk - all of whom hav
 e an extensive background and are highly respected in the world of music.\
 n\nThe 2026 event will take place on 29th March at The Prince Albert\, Bri
 ghton\, running from 1pm to 10pm and will showcase a vibrant mix of talent
  - from homegrown Brighton acts to musicians travelling from as far as Sco

 xclusive limited-edition double CD\, available to purchase on the day. The
  album features 30 tracks from 30 artists all donated in support of the ch
 arity\, something for which Rock 4 Dementia are very grateful. Among them 
 is a brand-new\, never-before-released song written and composed especiall
 y for Rock 4 Dementia:\n\n"Where've You Been" by Baz Warne\, lead singer o
 f The Stranglers.\n\nOther tracks come from artists who have supported pre
 vious events as well as musicians from across the wider UK music scene. It
