This longform mus ical course will have you diving into the Harold structure.\n\nPart 2 of t his course\, culminates in a performance showcase for friends and family a t the Lantern Theatre in Brighton.\n\nThe basis of much longform improvisa tion\, the ‘Harold’ is a 20-30 minute improvisation format composed of scenes and ‘games’ created fresh each time it is played. With its dis tinctive three-part structure\, it gives a sense of coherence and unity to a show\, but it is also flexible enough to change with the team\, the nig ht and content. In this course in particular\, we will use musical improvi sation to teach the Harold\, so no previous knowledge of the Harold is nec essary.
