DESCRIPTION:This one day course will introduce you to drawing and painting 
 portraits.This course will introduce participants to drawing and painting 
 portraits and is suitable for beginners and those with some experience. Yo
 u will be given an introduction to the methods\, techniques and ways of lo
 oking needed to create a likeness.Basic drawing and painting materials inc
 luding acrylic paint\, paper and canvas will be provided. Please bring you
 r own acrylic paint brushes. You are welcome to bring any additional mater
 ials that you would like to use.*Please note\, oil painting will not be co

 ing classes at The National Portrait Gallery\, London\, Glasgow Museums an
 d Galleries\, Glasgow School of Art and Wimbledon School of Art. He has co
 mpleted portrait commissions for numerous institutions including the Unive
 rsities of Oxford and Cambridge and The National Portrait Gallery\, London
 . Allan holds a studio at Phoenix Art Space.
