DESCRIPTION:Academy Award nominee Stockard Channing's critically acclaimed 
 production of Samuel Beckett's 'Krapp's Last Tape' starring David Westhead
 \, plays at Brighton's Regency Town House.\n\nAfter the 6pm and 8pm perfor
 mance on Sunday 13th audiences are invited to stay for a QandA with Stocka
 rd Channing and David Westhead.\n\nAll proceeds will benefit the Wembley t
 o Soweto Foundation\, an international charity founded by David Westhead t
 o offer photographic training to young people from disadvantaged backgroun
 ds. An exhibition of their work will run concurrently with the play on the
  ground floor.\nAbout the production:\nBringing her unique directorial vis
 ion to this production\, Stockard Channing (Grease\, The West Wing\, Six D
 egrees of Separation) explores the intricate layers of Beckett's masterpie
 ce and Krapp's solitary world. Starring David Westhead (W1A\, Strike\, The
  Bodyguard)\, a veteran of The Royal National Theatre and Royal Shakespear
 e Company\, this 50-minute theatrical experience delves into the life of K
 rapp who\, at the age of 69\, looks back over his life and tries to make s
 ense of it through listening to tape recordings he made as a younger man\,
  recordings which diarise the daily events of his life.\n\nThe Birmingham 
 Press has described Channing's production as "a complete stunner - everyth
 ing comes down to the acting and\, in the case of Krapp's Last Tape\, to t
 he ability of one man to hold the stage. Westhead\, intense and compelling
 \, and returning to the theatre after several years of absence\, looked as
  if he had never been away."\n\nThe production has toured globally to ecle
 ctic\, site-specific venues\, from disused function rooms to underground v
