 ets. Bring a picnic\, gather friends and family\, and relax amongst the la
 te-summer flowers as the garden is transformed into an atmospheric outdoor
  concert venue. As daylight fades and the garden settles into evening\, en
 joy an unforgettable celebration of music beneath the open sky.\nAbout The
  Jazz Jamboree Orchestra\nDirected by trombonist Mark Bassey\, The Jazz J
 amboree Orchestra is a Sussex-based amateur ensemble comprising around 25
 –30 talented musicians\, including brass\, saxophones\, woodwind\, rhyth
 m section and vocalists.\n\nTheir programme is as entertaining as it is va
 ried\, blending jazz classics with much-loved popular music\, from Duke E
 llington and Abdullah Ibrahim to Simon &amp\; Garfunkel and Freddie 
 Mercury\, alongside original compositions written and arranged by Mark and
  members of the orchestra.\n\nFrom swing and Latin rhythms to funk\, blues
  and contemporary favourites\, the orchestra's warm\, vibrant sound has de
 lighted audiences across Sussex. Their full orchestral performances are fu
 ll of energy\, colour and joy—perfectly suited to an evening in the gard
 en.\n\nWhether you're a lifelong jazz lover or simply looking for a memora
 ble evening in beautiful surroundings\, this promises to be a wonderful wa

 cret Garden\nThe Secret Garden is a hidden Grade II listed Regency walled 
 garden in the heart of Kemptown. Once the private pleasure garden of Susse
 x Square\, it is now cared for by the Antony Dale Trust and maintained by 
 a dedicated team of volunteers.\n\nThe Secret Garden is managed by the Ant
 ony Dale Trust (Registered Charity No. 1124822)\, it is open seasonally to
  the public and hosts sculpture exhibitions\, educational activities\, com
 munity events and private celebrations.\n\nThe garden is maintained largel
 y by volunteers and relies on donations\, grants and carefully selected fu
 ndraising events to support its conservation and public programme.\n\nWe l
