DESCRIPTION:Gregg is a singer/songwriter from Brighton. He also plays in Pa
 radise 9\, a 4 piece psyche/proto-punk/space-rock band\, along with ambien
 t dub infused combo Rubber Bus\, and The Glissando Guitar Orchestra.\n\nGr
 egg’s new debut solo album\, “Songs from the Underground”\, due to b
 e released on Friday 5th December\, are a collection of songs written duri
 ng his busking years in the 1990s. The songs vary from folksy driven to al
 ternative indie rock\, psyche blues/neo-folk\, which Gregg has dubbed “s
 pace-folk”.\n\nThe album was recorded and produced by Martin Litmus\, wh
 o also plays bass\, keyboards\, synths\, mellotron\, guitars and drums/per
 cs\, with Gregg on vocals\, guitars\, glissando guitar\, clarinet and synt
 hs.\n\nGuesting contributors on the album are Nick Pynn on violins\, Jeane
 tte Murphy on BVs along with Paradise 9s Tyrone Thomas on lead and slide g
 uitars and Eugene McClouskey on violins.\n\nThis gig will be the official 
 CD launch gig\, with Gregg and guests performing the songs from the album.
  Opening will be a set from South London singer/songwriter Jeanette Murphy
 .\n\nThe gig will finish slightly earlier to allow folks to get home on a 
 school night.
