 e to Bernholz’s performances is her masquerade-like use of costume\, a c
 atalyst in the process\nof releasing and replacing identity. In toying wit

 AIKA:\nBorn out of his travels through the many global currents of contemp
 orary London\, GAIKA’s music is dark yet melodic\, experimental yet catc
 hy. While drawing strongly from his Brixton upbringing and his Jamaican an
 d Grenadian heritage\, GAIKA’s sound is ultimately expansive\, seamlessl
 y weaving musical motifs\, vocal flows and slangs of UK\, US and Caribbean
  music.\nAs both a vocalist and producer\, GAIKA is as uncompromising in h
 is politics as his sonics\, intent on expanding and exploding the ideas of
