DESCRIPTION:First Press Record Fair and Slack City return to The Prince Alb
 ert for another day of vinyl digging and DJs on Sunday 1st December 12-4 a
 nd as usual it’s all free entry. \n\n&nbsp\;\n\nSome new faces join us 
 alongside some First Press favourites. Stocked crates will be across both 
 floors from DJ Billy Nasty\, Mr Bongo\, Rob Life\, Keyring Records\, Union
  Lewes\, Inverted Audio and Greg Phillips for the first time at the Albert
 \, whilst David Loja\, Vinyl Selecter and The Record Album will be on hand
  as ever to round out the line up. \n\n&nbsp\;\n\nSlack City Radio will b
 e providing the all vinyl line up featuring John Warr (Afrobase)\, Anna Ba
 rnfield (The Record Caddy)\, Chloe &amp\; Evey (Motor Skills) and O. Leath
 er (Paradise Noir) having a spin upstairs at the Albert and live on the ai

 \n—- DJ Billy Nasty —-\n\nVinyl Curtain main man DJ Billy Nasty has ne
 ver been just a DJ\, he has enjoyed an extensive recording career and runs
  two record labels highly-regarded by a broad range of DJs and record buye
 rs alike. We’re pumped to have him with us for the first time\n\n&nbsp\;
 \n\n—- David Loja —-\n\nAnother incredible selection to be found in th
 e crates of David Loja - David has a collection of worldly delights that y
 ou may never see again and is always a highlight of the fair. His rare fin
 ds are always worth a dig and we're very excited to have him back with us
  \n\n&nbsp\;\n\n—- Rob Life —-\n\nIf you’re a fan DJ Rob Life’s T
 hings We Like Music Show or know him from his set’s around Brighton and 
 beyond\, then you’ll have a good idea of what to expect when we are join
 ed by the man himself - funky sounds and grooves\, with a spread of Funk\,
  Soul\, B-Boy Breaks\, Latin\, Hip Hop. Psych\, Jazz\, Afro beat and more\
 n\n&nbsp\;\n\n—- Inverted Audio —-\n\nInverted Audio Record Store is a
 n electronic music specialist in London offering discerning listeners a se
 lection of quality hand-picked new &amp\; used records\, clothing and cass
 ettes.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nCurated by Tom Durston aka DJ Antepop\, Inverted Audi
 o Record Store is located in Peckham’s Holdrons Arcade offering a hand-p
 icked selection of new and used vinyl records\, cassettes\, CD’s and clo
 thing from the best underground record labels and artists exploring the in
 tersections of house\, techno\, dubbed-out grooves\, experimental\, avant-
 garde and esoteric ambience.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n—- Mr Bongo —-\n\nMr Bongo 
 will be represented at First Press once again\, with their world beating r
 eissues and wave making new music on offer at record fair prices - this is
  not one to miss! With a selection of new releases and their excellent Alb
 um Club compilations alongside classic Mr Bongo titles on offer\n\n&nbsp\;
 \n\n—- Vinyl Selecter —-\n\nJoining us for the first time since going 
 brick and mortar in the Open Market\, you can expect some classic records 
 from Vinyl Selecter\, with a great collection of 45s and LPs\, with plenty
  reggae and must haves\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n—- The Record Album —-\n\nBrighto
 n Establishment and Soundtrack specialists The Record Album are taking a s
 hort trip down the hill to join in on action\, bringing some of their favo
 urite cuts and bargains \n\n&nbsp\;\n\n—- Union Music Store Lewes —-\
 n\nAn eclectic and wide reaching range from Lewes based Union Music Store 
 from Hank to Hendrix &amp\; Fela to Fugazi! Expect rock\, psych\, american
 a\, reggae\, world\, blues and jazz and more\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n—- Keyring Re
 cords —-\n\nkeyring records\, a reference to the inimitable image of a b
 utch lesbian with a big old ring of keys in her belt loop\, is a queer own
 ed record shop. a butch lesbian is often a protector\, a leader\, and the 
 most supportive figure in their community. mobile and online\, we visit re
 cord fairs with the intention of passing on mike’s collection (plus our 
 future reclaimed and undiscovered lp’s) and using his unknowing gift to 
 encourage vinyl lovers and the vinyl curious to broaden\, expand\, and ope
 n up their horizons. \n\n&nbsp\;\n\nSlack City DJs\n\nAll sets will be br

 hn Warr —-\n\nAfroBase is an afro-tropical exploration of new and old\, 
 psych and funk friendly tracks playing pre-release previews\, brand new re
 leases\, and long lost vinyls. We’re joined by John Warr who’ll be ope
 ning up proceedings of the day with a selection of AfroBase favourites\n\n
 &nbsp\;\n\n—- Record Caddy —-\n\nAnna\, The Record Caddy\, is an all v
 inyl Aussie selector based out of sunny Brighton. Resident on Totally Wire
 d Radio\, Anna is taking a guest slot on Slack for the afternoon. What can
  you expect from her show? A load of rare groove classics\, funk\, soul\, 
 breaks\, acid jazz and all things female that fall into that category.\n\n
 &nbsp\;\n\n—- Motor Skills —-\nChoe and Evey host Motor Skills\, a mon
 thly Slack City show showcasing their favourite experimental\, post punk a
 nd electronic acts. Chloe has worked both as a professional musician and m
 usic industry marketer\, performing around the world at music festivals an
 d venues\, including Maddison Square Gardens and the O2 Arena in London. W
 ithin her performance and marketing career she has worked with BBC Radio 1
 \, BBC Radio 6\, Triple J and Apple Music. Evey is a musician and illustra
 tor\, and hosts Monomania\, a bi monthly experimental open mic at the Rose
  Hill in Brighton and is part of the Patchworks Label collective\, releasi
 ng a broad range of electronic and experimental acts from the local area a
 nd further afield. \n\n&nbsp\;\n\n—- Paradise Noir—-\n\nParadise Noir 
 Radio show presented by Paradise Noir DJ O.Leather - You're in the right p
 lace for a mix of dark and deviant music\, spanning music from the origina
 tors of goth and post-punk\, through the ages of dark alternative electron
 ic music and looking into the future highlighting new artists\, releases a
 nd upcoming performances local to Brighton. Darkwave\, goth\, synth pop\, 
 post-punk\, EBM\, coldwave\, industrial\, new romantic\, dark electro\, fu
