DESCRIPTION:Last year\, Brighton Digital Festival took a pioneering journey
  to the ‘messy edge’ – the more human\, less clinical and more inter
 esting version of the ‘cutting edge’ - with a smart band of conference
  goers. This year we’re going back.\nThe Messy Edge is Brighton Digital 
 Festival's in-house conference\; its heart and its voice. It’s where we 
 unpack some of the social\, cultural and political implications of technol
 ogy\, it’s where we challenge dominant perspectives.\nThis is a conferen
 ce for all\, so join us for a day of thought-provoking talks by artists\, 
 activists and thinkers about the stuff - good\, bad and ugly - that underp
