DESCRIPTION:‘When I first moved to Brighton\, everything seemed perfect. 
 The sun was shining\, the sky was blue\, everyone was smiling\, but now I
 ’ve lived here for a bit\, now I see. That’s just a load of ****‘\n\
 nAmina’s just ‘down from London’ and now lives in Whitehawk with her
  daughter\, Darya. She’s doing everything she can to make Brighton feel 
 like home. But every time she looks out at the sea\, it doesn’t quite fe
 el like… home.\n\nJoin Amina as she takes a chance and accepts an invit
 ation to the community kitchen\, a place filled with boisterous bakers\, p
 otential friends\, real magic\, and sweet\, sour and salty stories. It’s
  here that Amina might finally be able to say what’s been troubling her 
 out loud.\n\nBrighton People’s Theatre invites you to share a meal at ou
 r community kitchen. Join an ensemble of performers from across the City a
 s they serve up a story\, to go with hot soup and bread.\n\nThe table has 
 been laid and your invitation is right here.\n\nBorn and Bread is a ficti
 onal story inspired by the stories contributed by the people of Brighton.\
 n\n\n\nWe have four shows planned at Attenborough Centre for the Creati
 ve Arts\; a matinee and an evening performance on each date where we will
  feed our audience as part of the show:\n\n 	Saturday 30 September 2023\, 
 3.30 pm and 8 pm\n 	Sunday 1 October 2023\, 3.30 pm and 8 pm\n\nBook Ticke
 ts Here\n\n 	The Saturday matinee performance will be captioned\n 	The Sat
 urday evening performance will be BSL Interpreted by Sue MacLaine\n 	Ther
 e will be filming and photography at both the Sunday performances\n\nWe he
 ld open auditions in April 2023. We cast 26 talented\, local\, non-profess
 ional performers who we’ve been rehearsing with once a week since then t
 o bring Born and Bread to life.\n\nMeet The Cast Here\n\nThanks to Arts
