DESCRIPTION:\n\nFresh off the release of his brand-new album Laughter In Su
 mmer\, the legendary singer\, composer and transgender activist comes to B
 righton Festival\n\n\nAfter remaining virtually undiscovered until 2015 at
  the age of 71\, Beverly Glenn-Copeland was approached by a Japanese colle
 ctor seeking copies of his 1986 album Keyboard Fantasies. A domino-effect
  ensued\, inspiring reissues\, new recordings and collaboration with Sam S
 mith and Romy of The xx.\n\nHis latest album Laughter In Summer is a col
 laborative love letter between himself and his eco-poet\, theatre actor an
 d producer and life partner Elizabeth Glenn-Copeland. It symbolises the me
 mories\, shared devotion and joy of a life lived together\, as well as the
  grief felt following Glenn’s diagnosis with a version of dementia known
  as LATE.\n\nGenre-defying and deeply intuitive\, he brings his unique ble
 nd of folk\, jazz\, classical and electronic music to the Brighton Dome Co
 ncert Hall stage. With minimalist structures and gentle vocals\, Beverly G
 lenn-Copeland’s music is intimate and deeply intuitive.\n\nJoining him o
 nstage will be members of F*Choir\, a 60-strong\, queer-led ensemble that 
 reimagines what choral singing can be – bold\, high-energy\, full-body m
 usic that celebrates collective liberation\, joy\, and embodied resistance
