DESCRIPTION:Asian Dub Foundation’s live rescore of Mathieu Kassovitz’s 
 La Haine (1995) – 24 hours in the lives of three young men in the French
  suburbs the day after a violent riot – was first performed at the Barbi
 can Centre in 2001. The band’s musical interpretation of the unadulterat
 ed film was one of the very first of what is now the common medium of live
  soundtracking.\nThe project has since taken the band and film to Australi
 a\, to post-riot Broadwater Farm Estate in London and it was also part of 
 David Bowie’s Meltdown festival at London’s Southbank Centre. The newl
 y-enhanced project has already sold out a number of UK venues again garner
 ing excellent reviews and has been booked a main attraction for the presti
 gious Festival No.6.\nThe fact that this project has been in constant dema
 nd since its original creation over 10 years ago is a testament to the con
 tinuing relevance of Kassovitz’s stunning vision and Asian Dub Foundatio
 n’s tireless development of the live soundtrack medium.\nFollowing the f
 ilm there will be a 30 minute set from the musicians performing La Haine a
 long with Nathan 'FluteBox' Lee\, who plays in the full touring ADF band.\
