Having spent much of 2009 and 2008 supporting Metallica, Austin’s The Sword are back in the studio recording their third LP on Kemado Records.  The album is yet-to-be named and a released date has not been set, but it is said that it will out before the end of the year.
The Sword’s Trivett Wingo had the following to say, “We’ve never attempted something quite on this scale as far as song writing and sheer sonic magnificence go and we’re a little worried it might be TOO AWESOME for you to handle.”
The Sword are also supporting metal legends Motörhead later this month as part of SXSW, but unfortunately no UK dates have been announced as yet.
