Run by community interest company Marlborough Productions since 2010. The building dates back to 1794 and has a history as a ballroom, gambling suite and general den of inequity – if you’re interested in knowing more about the history of the building check out the Wiki page.

The programme comprises a huge variety of theatre, music, spoken word, comedy and live literature from home grown emerging talents to nationally acclaimed artists & companies. Specialising in the unusual, the unexpected and work that has something to say about contemporary life.

Marlborough Theatre is also home to production company Pink Fringe specialising in Queer & LGBT cultural events.
